MORRISONS SAVER CREME CARAMELS

There’s probably a technical gourmet definition of a crème caramel, and you can bet that Morrisons Saver crème caramels do not fit all or most of the criteria.

I don’t know much about technical definitions of crème caramels, but I know this: this is probably the most delicious thing you can get six of for 68p. They even have a little foil thing at the bottom that breaks the air-lock within the pot so you can put ‘em on your plate all upstanding and fancy-like.

Relentlessly smooth and creamy, this desert slips down the throat like the lightly-gilded ejaculate of the Gods. In a world that mostly deals out disappointment and pain for free, it’s worth investing 68p in delight (not to be confused with Angel Delight).

9/10
